You have to be willing to stop what you're currently doing (even if it's kind of working), and ask yourself some tough questions:

  1. What are the goals I intend to accomplish?
  2. Who are the people most likely to help me achieve my goals?
  3. What do I need to do in order to engage their help?
  4. What do I need to sacrifice in order to make the time necessary to accomplish all this?

Once you have the answers to these questions, all you need is the discipline to change course. It all begins with the willingness to get off your treadmill so you can start traveling the path that will lead to a better destination.
